Annotation: This book consists of three consecutive parts. In the first section introduces author the Cross-Cultural Management as a contribution to the company culture and to the culture as such. He also points out the possible difficulties as well as their respective solutions. The author is often referring to works of Geerd Hofstede who researched cultural differences on a multidimensional model, which became one of the basic models in intercultural behavior. The second part of the book aims to define the Czech managerial culture. Author widely utilizes his vast knowledge of the Czech professional environment which he confronts with Canadian culture. Text presented in this section could be easily described as an analysis of the Czech cultural environment with respect to cultural behavioral patterns in Canada and particularly its French part. The last section of the book is aimed at the in-house communication in intercultural environment. Author clarifies theoretical background and the most important terms. At the very end can the reader find model scenarios of different kinds including virtual teams and their communication.
